2020 Chrysler Pacifica AWD Launch Edition Available To Order Now

The 2020 Chrysler Pacifica AWD is now available to order. The AWD Launch Edition will use the

Pacifica's current body style. Base price is $41735 including destination.
Deliveries should begin in the 3rd quarter of 2020.

The Launch Edition uses the Touring L model as its starting point and is available only with the S Appearance Package.

The Pacifica's all-wheel-drive system can send up to 100 percent of the available torque to the rear axle. When traction at the back isn't necessary, it can also disconnect as a way to improve fuel efficiency. The tech uses a variety of inputs to decide when to activate AWD, including interesting things like a cold exterior temperature, use of the windshield wipers, and rough road conditions.

FCA Gives Us a Deeper Look at its Latest Uconnect Infotainment System

While normally a walkthrough of a new infotainment system, like Uconnect 5 that Fiat Chrysler is debuting in the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica before rolling out to more new models, would involve us sitting down in the minivan for far too long, playing with buttons. But since that can’t happen right now, we instead sat down virtually with three of the designers and communications experts in charge of the new system to take a look at what makes it better than the old one.

Auto review: The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica minivan has much to admire

2021 Chrysler Pacifica
Given the choice of talentless cretins who populate the entertainment field and hold political office, I am more likely to admire the Japanese maple tree growing in my backyard. It's beautiful, and it brightens my day every time I look at it, offering far more comfort than I ever expected a plant could provide. So, when an ordinary object of the Clark Kent variety turns out to be Superman, you do want to admire it.
That certainly holds true for the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid minivan.

Chrysler's Drive Forward Initiative

In an effort to alleviate shopping concerns and to chart a path for better days ahead, FCA is launching its “Drive Forward” initiative. Starting today, April 1, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Ram Truck, FIAT and Alfa Romeo brands will offer 24/7 support and well-qualified buyers can get 0% financing for 84 months and no payments for 90 days on select FCA 2019 and 2020 models.

2021 Chrysler Pacifica Finally Gets an All-Wheel-Drive Model

Chrysler used to offer all-wheel-drive versions of its minivans, but that was way back in 2004. More recently, Toyota has had the AWD minivan market all to itself because its Sienna has been the only van available that sends power to all four wheels. For 2021, though, Chrysler is redesigning its Pacifica minivan, which will have an all-wheel-drive model again.

The all-wheel-drive option is only available on gas-powered Pacificas, not the hybrid. The AWD models can retain the Stow 'n Go rear seats, a huge storage advantage, despite the need for a three-piece driveshaft that connects the power transfer unit and the rear drive module.
